West started growing his mullet out two years ago. There was no rhyme or reason, he just liked the look! Originally, West was the only kid in his grade/school with a mullet. Now he's a role model for a handful of the mullet wearing kids.
About a year after growing his mullet out, West decided that he was growing for a purpose and wanted to donate his hair to The Locks of Love Foundation. He is still in the growing process, as each donation needs to be about 17 inches long or more.
West has planned continue the process after each donation and grow his mullet out again and again for more donations.
