Nick laid eyes on his first mullet when he was just 3 years old. He immediately asked if he could have that haircut, to which we replied, "Totally! Awesome dude!"
We went home, and I (his dad) pulled out the hair clippers and we trimmed everything but the back. And "The Philly Special" was born.
We named it that because Nick is an Eagles Super Bowl baby. He was born 9 months after Super Bowl LII and is named after the Eagles Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles. He loves all Philly sports, especially the Eagles and Phillies.
There is one thing that he loves more than Philly sports, and that is his mullet. Anyone who asks him when he wants to cut his mullet off, always gets the same response, "You can cut it off when I'm 100!"
