My Mullet Story starts just like any other good Mullet Story, with a bet. I was bet $40 to get this beauty, the Tennessee Waterfall. My dad and I scoured the streets of Bend, Oregon on New Year’s Eve to find the perfect barber, a great way to start the new year. While every barber shop was closed after 11:00, we found one that wasn’t. We walked in proud with our one request. The lady there told us, “If you want a Mullet, I know a guy.” She then directed us towards Jack at the Highball. We found Jack who turned into work at 4:00 on New Year’s Eve. Over the next two years, time and time again, he delivers this beauty. After all this time, the lifestyle got to me. Most people quit with their mullets early on. Me, I’ve been with this baby ever since. It’s like what that guy told me when he made that bet; with great curls comes great responsibilities.
