2019 when the mullet came back in style with the youngsters , even my oldest sons grew out a mullet and recently not too long ago one of them chopped it but than the oldest has his also & I decided to do it to my son junior who’s entering the contest and he seen his brothers with it so he got into it and I told him stories about my brothers with their mullet back in the day and he said oooh yea let’s try it . Ever since 2019 he’s been growing it and when we seen about the contest we decided to not cut it and last year we weren’t able to make the registration due it was already too full and hopefully we make it at least to the registrations this year of 2024 & he says he’s going to buy me a house lol if he wins
