From the beginning Colter has done everything in his way. His mullet journey is no different. Everywhere he goes he gets stopped and told how epic it is. As he says “forget the puppy, grow a mullet and the girls will come, and mom they have candy.”
What started as a duck tail progressed to a Hawkeye and now has landed as his signature mullet. Last year as we were driving to a friends he heard an interview with last year’s winner. What hit home was that money goes to veterans and his dad had just retired after 21 years. He looked right at me and said “I can and will do that next year!”
The Colter Special is all business on the golf course and party on the back 9. With his eyelashes and curly soft locks he is able to schmooze his way in and out of trouble.
