It was 2020 and all the salons shut down, so my mom took a pair of clippers to my head in the living room one day and the mullet was born. While it's had some trims over the years, my mullet has always felt like a part of me. My mullet is famous. As I tell my mom when someone I don't know yells my name in public, "Of course they know who I am. I have a mullet!"
